My Story
I am a fiber artist and educator who has been creating and teaching most of my life. I homeschooled my three children and have taught classes and tutored many kids. Though most of my tutoring has been in math, science, and writing, in my retirement, I decided I wanted to share my love for the fiber arts - spinning, weaving, felting, dyeing, knitting, crochet, sewing - with the next generation. Having acquired a studio space large enough both for my own creative works and for teaching others, I am excited to offer instruction to both children and adults who want to learn and want a space to come and practice what they are learning.
With a background in science, I am fascinated by the biology, chemistry and physics involved in the production of my art. My background in theology leads me to consider the spiritual aspects of creativity. I invite you to join me on a journey of creating, experimenting, and exploring how the fiber arts can enhance your life.
